Optical Basics –Two day immersive Power sessions provides practical skills training that can be used immediately into your practice. Subjects include basics optics, measurements, dispensing tips and customer service. Hands on training in frame adjustments and repairs as well as taking PDs and Heights adds to the value of this Bootcamp.
Advanced Dispensing – One day Power session is a must have for anyone who is in the dispensary. We talk about fitting and troubleshooting progressive lenses with hands on portion detailing how to find and replace lens markings as well as a case study exercise on troubleshooting. We also discuss all things free form which includes the difference between all the options and how to upgrade your patients. Hands on training in vertex distance, pantoscopic tilt and face form is also reviewed.
Pretesting and Contact Lenses – One day Power session offers practical hands on training for pretest technicians. Training on how to talk to patients about the assessments as well as an overview of all pretests, both automated and manual, are covered. Time management and initiating sales process in a seamless way during the pretest room also covered. Hands on training includes VAs, color vision, stereopsis and drop instillation. A comprehensive overview of contact lens modalities, materials, cleaning techniques and insertion and removal instruction complete the day.
Front Desk Basics – One day Power session provides the unique training needed for any staff member to work effectively at the front desk while providing every patient with a WOW memorable experience. Topics include anatomy, eye diseases, emergency triage, telephone etiquette, sales skills, service recovery and how to create an amazing patient experience with making the perfect first impression.
